President’s Choice Children’s Charity (the “Charity”) is on a mission to feed one million kids annually by the end of this year, and the Charity is so close to reaching this goal. In fact, the Charity is reaching more than 997,000 students nationwide this school year.
With a staggering one-third of Canadian food bank users being children1, the need is critical. As Canada’s largest charitable direct-to-school food program, the Charity is working tirelessly to nourish young minds and combat the growing issue of childhood hunger.

From classrooms to communities, here's how President’s Choice Children’s Charity is making a difference:
Nourishing Bodies and Minds: Through the Power Full Kids | Eat Well program, students at more than 2,100 schools across Canada have access to nutritious meals and snacks four days a week, directly impacting the lives of nearly one million children. The Charity is committed to expanding this program to remove hunger as a barrier to learning in every Loblaw grocery store community across the country.
Cultivating a Love for Food: President’s Choice Children’s Charity goes beyond simply providing meals. The Power Full KidsTM program empowers students with food literacy education, including essential growing and cooking skills.
Empowering Future Growers: The Power Full Kids | Future Growers program is creating lasting change in Indigenous communities. By providing purpose-built container farms, the program equips students with the knowledge and resources to grow fresh produce for their schools and communities.
Joining Hands for a Brighter Future: Every contribution, big or small, fuels President’s Choice Children’s Charity’s vital mission.
