We wanted to take a moment to recognize the amazing work of our stores and operators throughout our Loblaw Feed More Families® Holiday Food Drive last month. Together, we raised more than $2.8 million for local food banks across the country.

“Canada’s food banks are stretched to their limits as they face record demand,” explained Emma Race, Sr. Director, Social Impact and Sustainability. “We, along with our longtime partner, Food Banks Canada, cannot thank you for helping to raise critical funds and millions of pounds of food, ensuring access to essential nourishment, from coast to coast.”

While all stores deserve a high-five for a job well done, a little healthy competition makes everything more fun. So, with that, here are the top Feed More Families® Holiday Food Drive fundraisers for December 2024:

  1. Peter’s No Frills in Mount Forest, ON – $15,447 in support of Community Pantry

  2. Real Canadian Superstore in Chilliwack, BC - $14,747 in support of the Salvation Army in Chilliwack
